Training the way it should be! Ron worked with three of my sons (age 14, 13, 13) and tailored a program for their needs. When one of my sons was injured - Ron was knowledgeable about the injury and assisted him with a personalized program to get him stronger and he recovered quickly. Ron takes the time to know his clients so he can customize their fitness plan. His experience and expertise, as well as a passion for helping people get fit and healthy, are what sets Ron above everyone else. The boys look forward to it every week. My son (14 years-old) suffered from typical growth pain (AKA Osgood-Schlatter disease) and couldn’t run. Our orthopedist told us to just slow down until the pain goes away, which usually takes a few years until the growth spurt ends. Shortly after he started training with Ron, he came back to play soccer nearly painfree. As a former competitive athlete, Ron knows EXACTLY how to treat young athletes in this delicate period. He is a very dedicated trainer and enthusiastically works for each individuals needs.
I’ve known Ron for over 15 years, most of which he was the fitness center manager and personal trainer for a large fitness center I attended. During that time he helped me develop numerous programs customized to fit my goals, and helped me overcome a handful of injuries. I have trained in many places with many people throughout my life, and I found him to be by far the most knowledgeable, conscientious and personable trainer I’ve ever met. I have an 11-year-old daughter that is a highly competitive lacrosse player. When she first expressed an interest in speed and agility training, I was concerned about finding the right program for somebody her age. Also, she is shy by nature, and I knew we needed someone with the right temperament to work with her. I had an initial conversation with Ron and we discussed her performance objectives, and he also brought up the importance of training for injury prevention. It seems so obvious now how important that is, but no one had brought it up to me previously. We scheduled an initial assessment, and my daughter immediately thought Ron was awesome and loved the training. Over the past few months, she has trained with Ron regularly, and I see significant improvement in her speed, strength, and agility. Perhaps more importantly, they have developed a great working relationship, and Ron knows exactly how to push her forward and get the best out of her, without intimidating her. I believe this has helped her improve mentally in competing at sports as much as physically. We couldn’t be happier with the training Ron provides, and I wholeheartedly recommend him.
I have been training with Ron for about 4 years now. I had lost quite a bit of weight on my own prior to working with Ron, however my goal was to gain strength, agility and flexibility. Ron's professionalism, honesty, attention to detail, and ability to create a training program that specifically meets my needs is unmatched, and hard to come by these days.
